About Dr. Andrew Yin, MD
Andrew Yin, MD, joined Naples Heart Rhythm Specialists, P.A., in 2013 and became a partner in 2017. He welcomes patients needing cardiac care at three offices in Naples, Florida. Dr. Yin has extensive experience in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, with specialization in the full range of heart arrhythmias.
Dr. Yin earned his undergraduate degree in molecular biology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After relocating to New York City, he spent two years studying the natural progression of valvular heart disease and received his medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York.
He continued his education at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he completed his residency and two fellowships: one in general cardiology and the other in cardiac electrophysiology. His intensive training included all aspects of cardiac arrhythmia management, including electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, atrial fibrillation, pacemakers, and ICD therapies.
Dr. Yin is board certified in cardiac electrophysiology, internal medicine, and cardiovascular diseases, and he’s a Testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography. He has coauthored seven scientific papers, one book chapter, and eight abstracts in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
